Hello,
We would like to thank our friends at the Valero Wilmington Refinery for all of their support and guidance on putting together our event. The Surf for Charity event, sponsored by Valero and U.S. Vets, will be held on August 21st this year. To eliminate any confusion with the events, WSPA has changed the event title to the Annual Ride the Wave Fundraiser. We hope you can support both events as they are wonderful opportunities to give back to others in need.
ALL Associates Chapters are welcome to participate in the Ride the Wave Fundraiser. Show off your favorite surf spot from SoCal to the Pacific Northwest. You can enter as an individual, you do not need a team this year.
The videos will be judged by a panel of experienced surfers. Winners will be announced at the July 9th Virtual event. Winners will receive a trophy and gift card.
Special Guest: SENATOR TOM UMBERG
The Senator will be joining the July 9th meeting to provide a legislative update and to present the awards.

SURF CONTEST CATEGORIES:
1st - 3rd for best wave - 4th for most committed cowabunga (can include biggest drop, best wipeout - Go big or go home!)

Submit your 45 second or less video shot between June 14th - 30th at a location you select. Submit your video HERE before June 30, 2020 11:59 PM, and make sure to put your name on the film file submitted.
